Welcome to the first Blog I've ever written. I never got a diary past January 15, so this could be a challenge. As would keeping it interesting as I'm quite a boring person, I think. Anyway I have a free day today. It's a bit like having a day off school when all the other schools in the area don't. I get to see what the rest of the world, or at least my home village, does when I'm slogging away at work.
So why a free day? Because I had a week off for a holiday and one of my customers freaked out and said she needed someone reliable. This in spite of her clearing off for a fortnight's skiing in the States, leaving me short of income.
So this morning I took the dogs up onto Nottingham Hill, which is quite a wooded one for the Cotswolds, and we had a great time. I was watching a kestrel hunting and surprised to hear it squeaking at the same time. Seems counter productive to me, but perhaps it was trying to persuade some mouse to come out and play.
I met a few people to chat to, which is not unusual and I can talk for Gloucestershire and got home rather later than I intended. The point being that I had my coffee listening to the radio and there was an article about Blogging. So hey presto, here I am.
Do you know what? I now have to go to Tesco's. Fantastic life!
